Fruit Acid

AHA Fruit Essence is an intensive skincare product containing fruit acid that is formulated for exfoliating keratinized skin cells, thereby smoothening the skin and lightening pigmentation disorders. Exfoliation of the dead keratinized skin cells encourages the production of new cells. The new cells help to reduce wrinkles, fine lines and age spots in mature skin and to smoothen facial skin. In skin with overactive sebaceous glands and enlarged pores, the fruit acid tightens the pores and inhibits the formation of comedones. Grapefruit extract - an essential oil produced from grapefruits that has skin-tightening and lifting properties. Lemon fruit extract - Lemon extract with skin-lifting properties. Tomato leaf extract - an extract that strengthens the skin’s surface and maintains its normal condition. Blueberry extract - Strengthens capillaries and prevents skin irritations. Malic acid and citric acid - acids produced from apples and pears.

    Citric acid is an acid naturally found in plants and animals, and is particularly abundant in citrus fruit. It belongs to the family of alpha hydroxy acids.   • Malic Acid + −

    A mild alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) derived from apples and used in skin care products to rejuvenate and improve skin conditions. It can be used alone or in combination with other AHA. It’s mainly known to exfoliate and even skin tone, reduce acne breakouts, reduce hyper-pigmentation and signs of age spots, reduce fine lines and wrinkles and relieve symptoms of rosacea. Thanks to its slightly larger molecular structure, malic acid penetrates the skin more slowly and evenly and causes less irritation.
