This is a giant kelp belonging to the family of brown seaweed. It is best known for its high iodine content, but it is also rich in potassium and vitamins that keep the skin of the face healthy and radiant. This kelp is excellent for combating sun damage due to over-exposure to UV rays. Because it is rich in gelatin, it makes the skin silky soft to the touch and gives the skin a glowing and radiant appearance.
This is a red seaweed that is found in abundance in deep areas of the Atlantic and Indian Oceans. It is rich in amino acids that play a key role in keeping our skin cells healthy. It also acts as a natural screen protecting the skin from UV rays.
This seaweed comes from the brown seaweed family and is commonly found in the North Atlantic Ocean. It is rich in trace elements, such as copper and zinc, which are essential for the skin’s metabolic processes and keep the skin looking healthy and radiant. The seaweed is also an excellent source of amino acids that are essential for protecting the skin cells.
This is a bacterium found primarily in deep sea algae. During the fermenting process, this bacterium produces polysaccharides that bind a large amount of water molecules, meaning that it provides excellent hydration and protects the outer layers of the skin from water loss and dryness.
This algae is one of the best plant-based sources of vitamin B12. Vitamin B12 is essential for our skin, as it accelerates the healing of sores, infections and various skin disorders.
This is a bacterium found along the shores of the Antarctic Ocean. During the fermentation process, substances can be extracted from the bacterium that assist in rapid skin cell renewal, moisture retention and faster collagen and elastin synthesis.
Thermus Thermophillus Ferment This is a bacterium that is especially common in areas of hydrothermal springs (underwater fissures emitting geothermally heated water due to volcanic activity). During fermentation, substances can be extracted from this bacterium that are especially resistant to oxidation, and is therefore considered a powerful antioxidant, which helps us to keep healthy collagen and elastin fibers. The extract also helps firm the skin due to its content of special enzymes that give the skin a firm and youthful appearance.
The wakame seaweed helps to lighten pigmentation and inhibit melanin production (the dark pigment in cases of hyperpigmentation) from “floating” on the skin’s surface and reaching the outer epidermal layers. Like other seaweed ingredients, wakame also has a high content of polysaccharides and polyphenols that are essential for a healthy skin.
